Top Bunch 2.0 Hybrid Collard
Growing Top Bunch 2.0 Hybrid Collard
‘Top Bunch 2.0’ is a productive hybrid collard known for its early maturity, uniform growth, and abundant harvests of wavy, slightly crinkled blue-green leaves. This improved Georgia-type collard grows faster and more evenly than many open-pollinated varieties, making it an excellent choice for gardeners who want reliable harvests in less time. Rapid regrowth also makes it especially well suited for cut-and-come-again harvesting.
Sow ‘Top Bunch 2.0’ directly in the garden about ¼ to ½ inch deep. Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart and grow in full sun. This cold-tolerant variety is also suitable for indoor growing.
Ready to harvest in about 50 days, pick young leaves early for a sweet, tender harvest or allow plants to mature for crisp, full-sized bunches. The plants regrow quickly after cutting for repeated harvests throughout the season.
Sweet, crisp, and versatile, ‘Top Bunch 2.0’ is excellent for salads, sandwiches, sautéing, braising, and everyday cooking.
