Green Light Hybrid Cucumber Seeds

Suck seed...? Yuck, yuck, that is so punny. But on a more serious note...! Bought this before from Seeds n' Such and had zero luck. Only a few of the seeds germinated. And of those that did, none reached maturity. So they wound up being a big "red light" for me--heh-heh. But in light of their being an A-S... Oops! I mean, an A-A-S selection, I figured I'd give them another try. They sure look and sound good. Maybe if I stuck in a 14" pot and gave them a little more love and affection... We shall see.

From three plants in a 14" Pot with a heavy duty large tomato cage on top I got 57 cukes of medium to medium large size. Fantastic. Planted some more to see if I can get a fall crop.

Love this cucumber, good flavor, very few seeds and great for canning.

This is an excellent hybrid variety to grow. I’m in zone 10a Florida. This has been the best variety for me to grow. I normally pick these about 5 inches in length. I have grown these in 7 gallon plant bags and 5 gallon buckets, also doing succession plantings. Understand, this is not a slicing cucumber nor is this a gherkin. It’s a snacking cucumber. Tastes great with a slightly sweet taste, excellent crunch.

Definitely add this to your vegetable garden! The skin is thin, the cucumber is juicy and so light - perfect for sandwiches, salads and just as a snack by itself. I always share my cucumber crop with friends but I might not this year - never thought I’d be greedy with vegetables but here we are!
