2016 AAS Winner. A golden-yellow sister to the dark carmine red of ‘Carmen." Both colors are winners of the prestigious award, with ‘Carmen’ winning in 2006 and ‘Escamillo’ ten years later. ‘Escamillo’ has the added advantage of being organic. A ‘bull’s horn’ type with tapered fruits and sweet flavor is perfect for salads, sautéed, stuffed or fire roasted.

It hard to review because the thing is I purchased the seeds but it's winter and I made the purchase for my summer garden which is at least 2 months away I just hope I can get the seeds to germinate and get ready for planting when time comes to plant it's very hard to get these pepper seeds to sprout
