Growing Information

Growing Yellow Monster Pepper

‘Yellow Monster’ is an open-pollinated sweet pepper prized for its enormous elongated fruits and exceptional sweetness. Meaty peppers begin green and mature to sunny yellow, becoming progressively sweeter as they ripen.

Start ‘Yellow Monster’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety develops prolific plants throughout the warm season.

Ready to harvest in about 88 days, pick fruits green or allow them to mature fully yellow for maximum sweetness.

Large, meaty, and super-sweet, ‘Yellow Monster’ is excellent for fresh eating, roasting, stuffing, grilling, and everyday cooking.
