Growing Information

Growing Time Bomb Hybrid Pepper

‘Time Bomb’ is a hybrid hot cherry pepper prized for its large fruits, dependable productivity, and thick walls. Round peppers pack noticeable heat and can be harvested either as early green fruits or fully mature reds.

Start ‘Time Bomb’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety performs especially well through warm summer conditions.

Ready to harvest in about 65 days, pick peppers green for an earlier crop or allow them to mature fully red.

Hot, thick walled, and productive, ‘Time Bomb’ is especially well suited to pickling and canning.

Prolific and good quality peppers

These plants grew really well for me. They produced lots of beautiful peppers. They are plenty hot when raw, or milder when pickled.
