Start ‘Sunset Torch’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. This variety is noted for good disease resistance.

They did not survive the temperature variations. I had to move the plants outside because my indoor growing setup was proving to be inadequate. I ordered some much better grow lights and heating pads, but I needed to do something with the plants while I waited for delivery.

Outdoor temperature were 70s, so I hoped for the best. But temps quickly changed to 40s. I was shuffling the little plants indoors and outdoors for almost a week and they just couldn't handle the variations.

It's kind of late to be starting over, but I'm going to try with what seeds I have left.
