Nobel Giant Heirloom Spinach
Growing Nobel Giant Heirloom Spinach
‘Nobel Giant’ is an heirloom spinach prized for its exceptionally large leaves, tender texture, and excellent flavor. Dark green foliage ranges from smooth to lightly crumpled, while vigorous plants grow rapidly and resist bolting.
Sow ‘Nobel Giant’ directly in the garden about ½ inch deep and space plants 4 to 6 inches apart. Grow in full sun to partial shade. This cold-tolerant variety is also well suited to containers.
Ready to harvest in about 49 days, pick leaves at the size you prefer, taking younger growth for the most tender harvest.
Succulent, tender, and flavorful, ‘Nobel Giant’ is excellent for fresh eating, salads, sautéing, and everyday cooking.
