Multipik Hybrid Summer Squash
Growing Multipik Hybrid Summer Squash
‘Multipik’ is a hybrid straightneck squash prized for its exceptionally bright yellow color and prolonged heavy yields. Bush plants produce sunny yellow fruits that maintain their attractive color even under disease pressure that can cause green streaking in other varieties.
Sow ‘Multipik’ directly in the garden about 1 inch deep and space plants 18 to 24 inches apart. Grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety is noted for excellent disease resistance.
Ready to harvest in about 50 days, pick fruits frequently while they remain young and tender. Regular harvesting encourages especially abundant production.
Bright, productive, and versatile, ‘Multipik’ is excellent for sautéing, frying, roasting, everyday cooking, and storage.
