‘Jasper’ is an award-winning hybrid cherry tomato and 2013 All-America Selections Winner prized for its sweetness and exceptional disease resistance. Small deep red fruits average about ½ ounce and have a rich, tangy flavor with a pleasant chewy texture.
Start ‘Jasper’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. Vigorous indeterminate vines are noted for resistance to both Early Blight and Late Blight.
Ready to harvest in about 60 days, pick the uniformly round, crack-resistant fruits as they develop their deep red color.
Sweet, tangy, and dependable, ‘Jasper’ is excellent for fresh eating and snacking.
