Growing Green Zebra Hybrid Zucchini

‘Green Zebra’ is a hybrid zucchini prized for its striped appearance, vigorous growth, and tender flavor. Dark green fruits are marked with lighter green striping, creating an especially attractive harvest with excellent culinary versatility.

Sow ‘Green Zebra’ directly in the garden about 1 inch deep and space plants about 4 feet apart. Grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety performs especially well during warm summer weather.

Ready to harvest in about 50 days, pick fruits regularly while they remain young and tender.

Tender, flavorful, and colorful, ‘Green Zebra’ is excellent for grilling, sautéing, spiralizing, fresh eating, and everyday cooking.

Our favorite zucchini

I have been growing this variety since I discovered it several years ago. I grow a variety of zucchini plants, and give several away to friends. This is their favorite variety too. Great flavor, firm, slight nutty flavor, skin doesn't scratch up like some varieties.
