Tried this for 2 years to give it a fair trial, plants are vigorous with good fruit set, but those are the only good qualities on this variety. The taste is bland with no acid, fruits are heavily "boated" often curling around so much that it splits and most of the tomato has to be trimmed out. Opalka and San Marzano are my 2 go-to paste varieties, if anyone wants to know what my comparison is

Odd shape

Grew this tomato for the first time last season. Large, meaty, odd shaped fruit, fairly prolific. Good choice for canning but wouldn't work as a market tomato.
