Firefly Hybrid Pale Yellow Cherry Tomato
Growing Firefly Hybrid Pale Yellow Cherry Tomato
‘Firefly’ is an award-winning hybrid cherry tomato and 2019 All-America Selections Winner prized for its pale yellow color and exceptionally sweet flavor. Fruits fall between currant and standard cherry tomatoes in size, with delicate translucent skin and refreshing mild acidity.
Start ‘Firefly’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 12 to 14 inches apart with generous row spacing, and grow in full sun. Vigorous plants are well suited to containers and are noted for disease resistance.
Ready to harvest in about 80 days, pick the pale yellow fruits as they reach mature size and color. Productive plants can yield hundreds of tomatoes under good conditions.
