Growing Information

Growing Felicity Hybrid Jalapeño Pepper

‘Felicity’ is a hybrid pepper prized for delivering classic jalapeño flavor without the heat. Sturdy, upright plants produce heavy yields of extra-large, thick-walled fruits that begin green and mature to a brilliant red.

Start ‘Felicity’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 12 to 18 inches apart. Grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety performs especially well through warm summer conditions.

Ready to harvest in about 80 days, pick the peppers green or allow them to mature fully red according to the flavor and color you prefer.

Heatless but full flavored, ‘Felicity’ is excellent for fresh eating, stuffing, salsa, pickling, roasting, and everyday cooking.
