Surprisingly awesome

I start lots of different types of tomatoes every year. Started with carmello the year it was the free seed. I think. I was amazed at how many uniform tomatoes came of oa each plant. These would be great if you have a roadside stand or just plain love sharing your harvest with others. Produced all season. Never had a day without a ripe tomato

Production and flavor

Carmelo has big healthy plants and is churning out piles of tasty tomatoes. The plants in the sunniest spots bear the most, but have a bit of sun scald and cracking on the fruit. A little bit of BER at the beginning of the season.
This is our first year growing this variety and it looks like it's earning a permanent spot in the lineup.
