‘Bronze Beauty’ is an award-winning heirloom leaf lettuce and 1947 All-America Selections Winner prized for its bronze-tinted foliage, crisp buttery texture, and sweet flavor. Wavy-edged leaves add rich color to edible beds while providing excellent eating quality, especially when harvested young.
Surface sow ‘Bronze Beauty’ seeds without covering them with soil and space plants 8 to 10 inches apart. Grow in full sun. This variety is also well suited to containers.
Ready to harvest in about 45 days, pick younger leaves for the sweetest flavor and most tender texture, or allow plants to develop for larger harvests.
